A lot of Europeans have been on the same servers since even 1.0..
my server was saronia when I started. later merged with lindbulm to become sargatanas..

Expecting those players to simply cut any connections and friendships they've made since then and hop to an EU data centre is simply Ludicrous given this is an MMO and social conections are A core part of what keeps people playing....

I've got friends on sargatanas that I played XI with for best part of a decade. and friends I met way back in 1.0 when ALL the servers where in japan..

Being NA doesn't make the slightest bit of difference...

the reset could be 11am-12pm EST and not impact half as many people. it wouldn't be in the EU prime hours or the US prime hours....
