    Can we get direct leve quest missions from Aeth

    Would help the game on a much easyer note for solo players if we could get leve quests from the Aethright instead of the city guild leve.

    Even if we ran outta leves at that location we could get more right from the Aethright instead of having to return to the city.

    Edit: Would help players have more freedom to just run to any Aethright nearby and do them. I travel on chocobo alot and somtimes I just want to do a leve here or two without the hassle of returning to a city toget one. Even if my homepoint is in Ul'dah and im in the black shroud it does leave anima/time sink problems to heading to Griandia.

    would you also like free teles every 20 feet also?(srry not trying to be a arse) I mean you set your return in the city u return when u finish you grab more and choco bk to where u need to go or tele. One thing this game doesnt need is faster way to get everything done you start removing the need for people to move from area to area the game begins to look just like WoW zones Empty empty empty. If anything I vote for the removal of anima based tele system to multiple nodes in each zone. With the addition to airships at lvl 1 to all cities.. Chocobos @25.. rented @ 8. I think everyone can get around plenty fast enough if not to fast. ^^

    And yes it might be time consuming going back to the city to get more leves, but I mean you are playing a MMORPG i mean arent they time consuming? do you want everything instant really? players QQ'd about WoW and now the game is literaly. "Sit in city que for dungeon get dungeon tele to dungeon instantly and run it. exit then leave and reque." you can literally sit in one spot from 10-80 and never ever have to move. Sounds like a horrible thing and SE if your reading this PLEASE NO CROSS SERVER INSTANCE QUE'ING IT WILL RUIN THE GAME. PLS LEARN FROM WOW'S MISTAKES.

    Errr, the intention of Guild Leves is to be quick and casual for when you have some spare gaming time, so what the OP is asking for is completely valid. Besides, I'm fairly certain SE mentioned they will be addressing this very issue in a later patch (but don't quote me on this!).

    Just cause its "casual" doesnt mean it needs to be freely givin to them on a silver platter right? oh well hopefully in 2.0 we will see them get rid of all these nodes all over the place. (since the screen shots only showed 1 node per zone.) And if the person is that casual that they cant play long enough to be bothered to walk around anywhere in the game, then they should have plenty of Anima to return and tele back to camp yea?

    @Dalmore

    What you said about WoW is true in the sense that you don't even have to leave the town anymore to participate in instances or BGs, and this has negatively impacted the game world because as you said it is quite empty outside of the main cities.

    However, allowing leve quests to be picked up at the Aetheryte would promote players to play outside of the cities and would populate the aetheryte camps. Even on my server, Selbina, which is considered one of the higher population servers, there are many aetheryte camps that are empty. This is probably due to the fact that leves don't offer nearly as much of a reward compared to the time required to do them (having to go back to town to pick up the quest and then ride all the way out to the aetheryte is less time efficient than simply getting an exp grind party).

    If you want to maintain some level of travel between aetheryte camps and the main cities you can add in extra rewards for the time spent in travel. For example, you could make it so that leve history evaluations can only be picked up at the adventurer's guild. In addition, the special leves that you get from history evaluations would have an increased chance of rewarding items to make it worth your time to travel back to town.

    @Blue
    ok ill give you that I'm on Selbina also
    I really think the whole reason people are in the Cities at all times are because of the party search function or lack of. and obvious lvl 50's just sittin around with nothing to do lol
    More content early-mid and endgame would solve all that. longer spawn times on NM's, more HNM's, crafting items that didnt drop from almost every mob in game so people could go farm to make cash. Anyways i just dont want to see the zones empty and I think giving people options to not have to move back and forth from areas will cripple the world making it feel so small and unneeded. and I feel FF is about the world

    DoL's would benefit the most with such an option seeing how we only get 2 leves per level area to do. For our 30's in fishing we only get 2 leves for Cedarwood in the LL region and if trying to level up while getting guild marks, it becomes quite the pain to have to go back to town every 2 leves. Much worse when the leves take you all the way out to Iron Lake.

    They just need an NPC to give out leves in the camps, not a fan of getting them from the Aerthryte.

    It would be much easier to add an NPC from a development side of things aswell, as the above post said DoL would benefit from this change the most and it would a very welcome one at that.

    you can literally sit in one spot from 10-80 and never ever have to move.
    You can, but almost nobody does this, running quests in WoW is generally much faster than dungeons you would need to be slightly retarded to go 1-80 just from random dungeons.

    Lets not forget that 2.0 will have the same system ... oddly enough in FFXIV it will be a much bigger problem, because dungeon runs provide good XP and the sidequests are pretty crappy in comparison.

    This is what return and favored locations are for. A truly casual player has more than enough anima to go back and forth for an hour or two.

    Perhaps, but for DoL and DoH the experience of running back and forth is pretty time consuming and monotonous and thats even for the experienced player.
