Forcefully move people out of Balmung (and other insanely congested worlds)

Seriously though, if they forcefully moved players, no one would feel safe and mass exodus of players would occur. This is Star Wars Galaxies grade of issues. Not to mention the sheer number of transfers they allowed in would amount to a masssive amount of money. They'd lose much more than credibility, the game would cease to exist if this idea was put into effect. It's that bad of an idea.

Why would you "deport" people who dodge the auto-logout rather than the people who actually complain about the queues? It's a bad suggestion either way and fortunately SE is a bit more intelligent, as their solution–bribing people to transfer–is working, even if not as quickly as some would like.

Actually, while a fitting punishment, the better way would be to go in order of level and time.

Those who have been on the server the least should be the ones displaced IF SE were going to be that drastic.

I can't say that is fair. This would be displacing people because they are unable to log into the server because AFK abusers. Why punish those who are not causing the issue? Displacing those who are abusing the system by AFKing would be most appropriate.

Pretty sure the person means someone who has been on Balmung for 6 months would be displaced far more likely than someone who has been on the server for 3 years.

I said start with the people bypassing the auto logout function. HyperSMB posted their wonderful suggestion after that. Transfer people who have been there the least amount of time first and go down the list from there.

However, I couldn't care less if someone is a legacy player who has been on Balmung from the start if they are on the forums complaining about login queues when they have already been given options. Free options at that.

Forcing people who PAID MONEY to transfer there would be a huge no-no. Unless they're willing to reimburse them their money (which they would never do), not gonna happen.

this would make SE lose so many people just wait until they release the ability to transfer fc's and fc houses. You'll see more people leaving as whole fc's make the jump to a new server
