    It a new issue that came with SB otherwise PS4 has not had any issues like this since it release either afaik.

    I can confirm, been on a ps4 for 3 years and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. Also I live in a place where power outages are fairly common and never had this happen until SB dropped.
