No but really people do need to settle down esp if you are on the same DC as Balmung because guess what when Balmung is instable we bring the entire DC down with us. When our massive server is shitting it self we shit the entire DC with us not to mention we also have Gliga. If you are on the Aether DC this is a godsend REGARDLESS of what server you are on.

Is anyone elses server had long wait times or anything else since the reset?
Otherwise, everyone should be able to log in with no problems.
Instead of looking at the bad, let's all think about now that people
can ACTUALLY log in to play. Tank/Healers so DPS times should be a bit shorter?

How about No? They being selfish isn't about the quick log back. It won't change how duty finder works.
It's the fact selfish people in 1 server cause the rest community to have to adjust our primetime for playing.
Be selfish, afk, insta-queue whatever on your own server with your own money.
Don't drag the rest of us for your own incompetence choosing server.

Ahhhh so your saying that ppl don't realize that if the servers weren't congested in the first place, there wouldn't be a need for the afk exploit? It's just easier to blame other customers than the business that is actually responsible I guess.

No, I blame SE for waiting too long to take care of Balmung, and address its overpopulation/server strains. Sure, it's locked to all character creation and transfers now, but that was a very recent thing; it was overpopulated and strained way before those restrictions were put into place. I also disagree with the decision to auto-kick entire data centers when there is only one (maybe two) servers that are being overstrained.

Its not just 10 minutes when you have to plan around this forced logout when you are already actively in the game doing something whether it be MSQ, DF, or even crafting/gathering.

You have an HOUR's notice. Give me a break.

It's rather strange how I am in the same data centre as Balmung and i don't give af about the 10 minute kick. Life is too short to stress about something so mundane and minuscule.

Not any shorter here, still 25 min wait for DPS que. Was 20-40 before the shutdown so no difference.

Unless I missed a message or two, they only did the one about an hour prior, and then right before going down. WOuld be nice if they could expand the messages to quarterly to try and catch as many people as possible.
