They both see the other as inferior. Honestly it would be more likely you would see Cerina fixed up with Sadu than Magnai. Hate to rain on your parade but it is more clear they would more likely try kill eachother than end up together as lovers.

I do like your idea don't get me wrong. It is just that this is unlikely as neither of them could get past their pride.
