And? That changes nothing about today. You have the opportunity to transfer to a different server for completely free. Anyone who transfers to Balmung knows what they're getting into. I imagine 5 months from now when the SB hype dies down, queue times will go back to hardly anything. Square has zero care for RPers. If they did, they would make an official RP server. They won't do anything to fix the issues that plague Balmung. If the RP community is suffering so badly why don't they get together and split the community on Balmung into two separate servers themselves?
Okay? Then you must not really care too much about the queue times then huh? Who has more of a reason to stay somewhere literally means jack nothing in the sense of MMO servers.Quite a closed minded way of looking at things. Some of us have deeper reasons to stay. I for one have to run an FC where many members have not played in a while and I want them to not feel lost and forgotten when they return. Also, Balmung has one of the lowest accounts on the server, but the most active.

Not nearly as much as I care about doing right by my FC members. I know you don't get it, but MMOs are about forming community and friends to take on challenges together. Not server hopping to find raid groups on a whim or abandoning what you've built up. I play other games while in queue, and though I want it to go away, I have patience and know it'll go away soon. You don't get why we stick by our communities on our server? Fine. I don't get how people with impersonal attitudes even touch MMOs.
Then you have zero right to complain. None of anything you just said in your comments means ANYTHING other than the very first sentence. All you care about is you and your friends. That selfish attitude is the reason why Balmung is the way it is. I've played MMO's for 15 years and have been in a total of 3(4 now since I made one on Omega) guild/linkshells/free companies in that time span. How about you don't generalize people that you know absolutely nothing about and worry about actually becoming part of the solution instead of part of the problem. Not nearly as much as I care about doing right by my FC members. You need a time out, like seriously. That guy actually gives a damn about his friends and his community and that's okay. Then you have zero right to complain. Many people on here, and any other server have the feeling of their "home" server, mine being Balmung. I have left Leviathan twice, and returned
to Balmung because I enjoyed the environment, community and everything else and met awesome people and I don't wanna go.
Sorry you don't feel that way, but don't go bashing that guys face in on how he feels about his friends.
People give a lot of crap about Balmung but for me, I can't leave it even if I'm pissed off with the God damn waiting 3-4hrs to log in.
