The official reason they gave for locking accessories to jobs was not to confuse new players that might put strength on Bard or something but if they are going to base tank dps off strength then we should be able to equip them as well.

lol if THAT was the reason then they actually should job-lock the old accessories, not the new ones. it's new players with old gear who may get confused, not people who played until they reached lvl 60 and suddenly realize they used the wrong accessories the whole time... o.ô;
even if such people exist - and we know they do - why directing them into the correct accessories at lvl 60 and not at lvl 1?
