The Ifrit Fight is Dangerous to the Community.

You got to beat a scaled-down version of Ifrit in the r25 quest. That's your handout. Leave the "Hard Mode" (it's seriously IN THE TITLE OF THE FIGHT for crying out loud) as it is.

Learn what abilities leave you locked in an animation longer than others, and either avoid using them outright or learn Ifrit's timing in each of his phases so you have enough recovery time afterward. (Preferably the latter.)

I admittedly still screw up the timing here and there and catch a plume to the face. Is this SE's fault? Of course not. If I ran out into oncoming traffic and got turned inside out by a Mack truck, would I blame the Dept. of Transportation?

I'm not even going to bother responding to the new posts in full, as I've already provided the responses earlier in the thread to such statements. The gist of it is below...

Regarding R25 Ifrit Fight: It's not repeatable unless someone in your party has the quest, and the behavioral patterns of Ifrit are not the same as R50. So that does not qualify.

Regarding using other class abilities: Stop thinking that "everybody" has the time to go around getting all of the classes to the appropriate rank just so they can participate in Ifrit "optimally". This is exclusionary behavior.

Regarding everybody else's responses: Read through the entire thread and learn how to respond through proper context, please. Just standing there from your own perspective and slinging your canned responses isn't going to help advance a constructive discussion.

Your idea of what this game should be is so far off in left field... I don't even know what to say to you anymore.

Everyone bitched that classes werent unique enough.
SE makes them more unique.
Then you come along complaining that some classes are better at Ifrit than others.

It's the price you pay for unique classes.

If you want unique classes, you can't balance content so that all classes are equally good on the encounter.

Pick one:
Classes are all similar - All content can be completed by all classes equally.
Classes are unique - some classes are better than others at certain things.

You cant have both.

I think you can do that with 1.21 when job is avaiable

ninja edit: well you still need other class to some what lvl 15 but you dont need to have all to 50 to be to effective
