Right, he'd feel obliged to play something else that better helps his group. But, that's not to say that he doesn't prefer the aesthetic of Warrior, which is why he'd be concerned over its performance even when he doesn't play it. Because he'd like to be able to.
I luv Xeno but it doesn't hurt that he need to switch to pld (his own opinion tho). Back in the day his pld guides were as amazing as his warrior guides, not to mention that he did have some extremely funny stream segments, regarding pld. Looking forward of seeing that again, so out of selfishness and pure entertainment purposes, I hope SE doesn't "balance" warrior soonish, and we all can enjoy the upcoming streams from any good streamer out there, that switched to pld. Not just xeno.
Hmm Idk I really like the changes to warrior but Probily cause i'm a turtle warrior.
People have been playing with the SSS dummies and it looks like DPS-wise it's actually pretty well balanced between PLD and WAR. WAR is slightly higher, but if you factor in the slashing debuff PLD is just a few percent ahead. Real content will vary depending on if there's lots of player movement (messing up PLD's casting rotation) or uptime loss (when WAR can't DPS, but PLD can cast or recover MP).
DRK on the other hand is in a weird place. They are way worse at single-target DPS and way better at AoE DPS than the other two tanks and have much weaker cooldowns for everything but magic damage. I'm not sure if SE has a plan for that or (probably more likely) they've simply run out of ideas for DRK identity since they couldn't get the tanks right for all of HW and this is all they have left of where they started.
In other words, PLD will come out massively ahead in 99% of content because not only will you have the slashing debuff, but PLD's rotation is also braindead easy to pull off and not massively punished by mechanics or stance swapping, like Warrior's.People have been playing with the SSS dummies and it looks like DPS-wise it's actually pretty well balanced between PLD and WAR. One of WAR's biggest problems is that the dev team boosted the skill ceiling, but gave us no reward for reaching it. WAR's rotation is a massive, rigid, linear pain in the ass that gets demolished by any fight mechanic while PLD just mashes the same 4 keys over and over again. Warriors have to work harder in order to achieve the same exact efficiency as a PLD, with a higher degree of punishment if messed up.
Good balance!

The man himself. Been waiting for him to post a video on WAR https://youtu.be/oOKdznrs8zs

He did what I did with shake it off, the damn skill is a rage inducing pos on top of a bunch of other bs.The man himself. Been waiting for him to post a video on WAR https://youtu.be/oOKdznrs8zs
They should've just gifted Shake it off to us as low lvl MRD skill, like they did with the PLD AoE.
I still think it's insulting that they gave us the worst skill for 68 like wtf SE.
