    This is also coming from the guy who didn't want to add Summoner, but the demand was far too great, and yet he still doesn't like it. They send us mixed signals. On one hand, they made healing much more demanding, which is actually a nice change. On the other, though, Sch is most definitely made to be an off healer and they removed the need to swap into Cleric Stance for the specific purpose of encouraging us to dps (which, in all mmo's that I play, I love being the hybrid healer/dmg, so I really like this).

    Oh yeah, totally, but I still found it far easier to heal the damage that came from the trash in HW than it is here.

    Though, the HW thing could be me playing Sch when it did need a few nerfs (but I think they overdid it with 4.0).

    I can't really say something about the trial-extreme fights but I think healing is not harder right now.
    It depends on our group and especially on our tank, if we need to heal a lot. Maybe tanks get a little bit more dmg, but doesn't really matter.
    So I would say most of the time I can DPS a lot.

    The Extremes are probably the easiest extremes I ever had to heal. Higher healer checks? Please, give me a break. Mobs in dungeons hit just as hard as they did in Heavensward at the start. It's just that the majority of tanks still think they're doing an expert roulette. Not really had issues healing through it though. On WHM still plenty of room to DPS when a tank has like 10 mobs hitting him.

    Nah mobs hit way harder than HW. Immediately in HW my Fairy could heal most dungeons and it's not because now my Fairy does 500 HPS less per heal that she can't. Of course being further overgear is going to make things trivial but hopefully it means future dungeons will pose a further challenge.

    ...Considering how easy the ex primals are to heal even under their minimum ilvl requirement, I wouldn't hold your breath...

    There's also a lot of trap pulls in these dungeons now. Pulling 1 or 2 more turns out to be 7 lol. I am happy healers actually have to heal more and I hope this carries over into raids. But the ex's seemed pretty average for a new primal in my opinion. We will see I guess. I just hope others catch on and don't flip shit when they see their healer actually healing lol.

    Nothing has really changed in terms of game design. Leveling dungeons are just as potent as Sohm Al, the Aery, and the Vault were when you first ran them, until the next gear level began to trivialize them. AoE healing requirement can be nasty in primal EX fights if people are bad at mechanics, but don't approach the general demands of Ravana EX at HW launch. Level-sync dungeons are still faceroll.

    They didn't up the healing requirement, you just misremember pre-Alexander HW. That, or after two additional years of play you've gotten that much better at the game without realizing given the preponderance of avoidable AoE effects in the new dungeon boss fights.
