melding 3 Tier 6 materias?? broken or legit?

I swear in the live letter they said you would be able to meld 1 Tier 6 materia, not 3. This seems kinda broken

It's a little much. But if I were you, I wouldn't waste them now. Nothing to even do with gear of that quality meld wise. Save the for the start of Savage and the Omega Normal gear.

Oh im not going too, i just think its crazy to allow that much. the materia is 28 over the last tier

2.0 allowed you to max out stats with melding, why should it be a bad thing in 4.0. It was just plain stupid the way it was in 3.0, so I cant see a problem here

you dont see a problem with being able to meld the equivalent of 2 extra pieces of gear from materia? just on left side, I can meld 740 direct hit. the closest materia grade is 28 points behind tier 6 materia. Crafting materia isnt like this, crafting materia 6 is 5 points above grade 5. So yes, there is a problem.

We haven't seen the savage requirements yet, I find it hard to believe melding to this level is required but it's probably intentional for the level they are adding after savage, you're looking at this from a Ex perspective I assume which we can do unmelded at ilvl, not a what's to come perspective.

only 1 advanced melding with tier 6 materias
But you can do normal melding with tier 6 materias in each free slot, if you want.

Attempts to affix grade VI materia will always result in failure when used as the second or later materia in advanced materia melding.

They never said you would only be able to meld one. This is what the said in a live letter: "As they are quite powerful, we plan on restricting advanced materia melding to one time only."
