Any solution? This ish is getting REAL annoying to deal with. Few of my FC mates are also suffering from this problem and they've powerful nvidia cards

Just chiming in to say I've got the same problem. Never had it before Stormblood but it's been around since the first day of early access. Happened a couple times in dungeons so I've started closing my client and re-launching it before queuing up since it normally takes a couple hours before the FPS gets awful (and then the inevitable crash).
My PC has an AMD card so I tried playing on my laptop that has a fine nvidia card (for a high-end laptop, anyway) but got the exact same issue after a few hours, so it definitely doesn't appear to be related to that :/

For me, it doesn't seem like using different DX settings help either. Funnily enough, I find DX9 to run more stable than 11Just chiming in to say I've got the same problem. Really hope Squareenix'll take a look at this; it exactly describes the behavior I've been experiencing from the launch of Stormblood. Thought I'd pitch in a few things I've observed as well!
The several-second freezes appear to be happening when the game is struggling/failing to load a model/texture. I first noticed this happen in The Peaks where I was greeted by a completely invisible enemy near Hidden Tear shortly after experiencing freezing behavior. On another occasion, I experienced freezing right before the final boss in The Sirensong Sea, and as a result the boss was invisible to me the entire fight.
The client itself usually crashes with an unexpected error less than an hour after freezing behavior begins. My AMD drivers are completely up to date, and I use a Radeon RX 480 graphics card.
Is your system a 64bit system by chance? Are your drivers and Direct X up to date? Are your specs matching your monitor ? Are you on HDMI ? if so I had to switch to display port or thunderbolt for faster performance. IF your running a 32bit system you may need to adjust your settings to almost minimum.
I can only speak for myself, but I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. I've got the most current DirectX for the OS (11.1) and my graphic drivers are up to date. I've got two 8gb memory sticks in my computer. I use HDMI, and my PC specs pretty handily obliterate the recommended specs for the game. If it's something on my end causing this, I can't for the life of me put my finger on it unfortunately. :cIs your system a 64bit system by chance? Are your drivers and Direct X up to date? I had the same issue when I was using HDMI. So I had to change the port and that solve my problem. Also my Direct X should be Direct X 12. That may solve your issue if you don't have a faster port than HDMI. Also there may be an issue do to congestion that can causing it.

I had a similar experience in Sirensong. I got to the first boss and it was completely invisible but my FPS was fine...however, immediately after killing the boss my FPS dropped to 2 and I had to re-launch my game to get it back to normal again.Really hope Squareenix'll take a look at this; it exactly describes the behavior I've been experiencing from the launch of Stormblood. Still happening to me.
Only error I get is (1)

So I am not alone in this problem. Windows 8.1, just got Stormblood today, and when running around Rhalgar's Reach, I briefly froze, then FPS became exceedingly low for a moment, froze again. When I thought it returned to normal, game crash. Later, in the woods near the wall, same thing happened, but without a crash this time, up closer to the river. I finished the quest I was on and ported out of there, despite the momentary freezing.
