To the Astros out there...

So....the new gauge is nice and having the royal road affect in writing and the held card boldly displayed is nice. However.....and I am not entirely sure this is the correct thread to bring this up but it would be really nice if they would include the old "buff icons" so it would be easier to coordinate with another Astro in party. What's everyone's thoughts on this and where can I bring this up so it could hopefully get noticed. Thanks in advance

I definitely prefer the old buff icons to the new gauge. I also miss being able to click off a royal road in some circumstances such as stronger ewer and spire to a single target that needs it rather than a less effective AoE hitting people who dont need it for example.

It really drives my friend nuts, it is hard to coordinate without seeing them. 2 good astros know how to coordinate without talking to each other and it is necessary to know how to do so in difficult fights. They should put the old buffs on buff bar for other abilities too just so we know what is going on better.

Yeah I actually never knew I could click it off til I brought up this issue to another friend of mine. I mainly play on a controller and even though there is a mouse pad on it that I can move around and click things. I never knew I could click off the buff til this new expansion came out. Lol

Yeah I was super stoked with my bomb heal that I was telling my friend who her healing main is an Astro and I had to actually type out (setting down my controller) that I had a spread balance, which a min-two later she was like oh yeah I got a spread to. After that really just had to keep a lookout for when her spread was up or mine.

You got a new action "Undraw" to drop unwanted cards, check your skill list.

On topic, I too wish there was an option to switchback to the old buff icon view, I don't like the new job gauges, on no class, not just Ast.

This honestly drives me nuts. I hate not being able to tell what other astrologians are holding, and I can't stand not being able to click off a card when I don't want to use it. The job UI is fine, but please, bring the buff icons back too...

edit to address the post added when I was writing this one: While Undraw does have the same functionality, I'm nevertheless not fond of having to set a hotkey when right click used to work just as well. The option would be nice.

Have you tried using the /statusoff macro to remove the buff? They might've removed it from the buff bars but it might still be considered a buff.

This does need to be adjusted. It doesn't impact me because I don't play with other ast in the party. (If I do I change healer roles), but regardless it should still be adressed
