Limsa itself and Vesper Bay.
But small is probably why they can justify spending time on it, so that it won't take that much time.

I don't know about every big city of the world, but Limsa should not have swimming in it just because the water is reserved for ship passage and general business.

Adding swimming to housing area like in Mist like in costa del sol, in the new housing area, and in the lake at the bottom of lavender bed could be really cool.
limited will be the goblet for which swimming could only be in those little pools in the central zone.
But Housing zone, bronze lake to cross by swimming would be a great add-on. Now I can miss some place where swimming could be fun. (Hinterland in the river where is Alexander?)
I must admit the most surprising omission with respect to swimming was that you can swim in Costa Del Sol, but not in the Mist.
I'd really like for them to add swimming to the deeper areas of the waters of the Mist, Goblet (Brimming Heart) and the Lavendar Beds, as well as the beach areas in the Shirogane housing area.
I mean the Mist was almost expected after learning of Costa Del Sol's swimming.
They already addressed this. They don't want to create an imbalance for housing.I must admit the most surprising omission with respect to swimming was that you can swim in Costa Del Sol, but not in the Mist.

Considering that there are potential places to swim in each of the housing zones, would it still create an imbalance?
Or do you mean that, for instance, the beachfront properties would be even more desirable, etc?
I do think the ability to swim in residential areas would be nice.
The Goblet especially would have to be redesigned. The water areas would actually have to be made deeper, at the very least. The area is also pretty small.Considering that there are potential places to swim in each of the housing zones, would it still create an imbalance?

As I said in another similar thread, personally, I'd like to see The Goblet redesigned to have an actual lower area like its concept art, and we were able to swim down there:

Mist and Shirogane would be very easy to add swimming to. Lavender Beds would need a little reworking, so that players could get to the large bodies of water. Goblet would need a complete overhaul. I wonder if they could get away with putting Diving in Goblet only, if the trade off was that their surface water area was much smaller.

The water areas near the center of town could be deep enough for swimming (near to the large waterfall, etc). Granted, it probably wouldn't be terribly exciting to swim in those areas.
It's still an option though.
Maybe, but you could always waterfloat around while waiting for DF, or while chatting.
I'm not sure that it would need a complete overhaul as suggested by several posters, the deeper areas would work, and yes, it might be a bit cramped, so add a little bit more water in the center or other areas where it might fit. But it's not like we're going to be running races there, it's just a leisure option...
