    Greetings,

    We thank you for your patience while we continue our investigation into this issue.

    We were able to confirm the issue that occurs when the PS4 loses power in an unusual manner. As such, we've been working closely with Sony Interactive Entertainment to further investigate the problem. In the meantime, we ask that users do their best to shut down the console normally whenever possible. We know there are instances beyond your control, like power outages, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this continues to cause.

    We'll update again as soon as we have more information to share.

    Thank you very much for responding to this thread. We appreciate you trying to resolve this problem. Hopefully you come up with a solution soon. I've downloaded the patch again but I'm not playing until this is fixed.

    Good to know the 2 giants work side by side on this. I hope it will be fixed soon.

    Can you please post this on the Lodestone Launcher. I think it's important for players to know and that the recent Software update for PS4 is for a different issue.

    Another thought in the wall.

    It occurs to me that they did just migrate from Toronto to Texas.
    That's a big deal, an international move to new laws most likely.
    Bound to be some problems.

    Just to review, the text of the staff response was changed. Before they spoke they were aware of the error, now they have changed to "working with Sony to fix the problem". We can only hope and pray that the problem will not happen again... T-T
