Lupin look horrible, like a life-less poorly made, unfinished and unpolished concept model. It's as if they are wearing a giant Halloween costume mask over their real head. It's so bad, anytime one of them are onscreen it pulls me completely of out the immersion of this otherwise wonderfully created world they've designed.

The model needs a complete overhaul. I'd rather play a Kojin because at least they look decently designed.

Kojin have the same static heads. All the beast tribes do; no reason to rig that when they have minimal speaking roles.

Exactly -hopefully they are never playable...definitely a highlight of FF14 - no ugly playable races (yet...) I still hate that WoW added Worgen.

since yoshida doesn't want bunny boys, release Lupin for male and viera for female only. Just want my viera is all

However, I saw them ingame and they look just as bad. It doesn't look like an actual race at all. It looks like someone put on a plastic wolfhead on and then strapped a tail on its back

The whole face is just one horrible looking plastic looking mold (its not my video card...Ive got a geforce 1080). What you see in that pic is what you see in the game

Thank you, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the head looks really weird and badly rendered. xD I'm not against introducing a beastial race by any means (and would actually LOVE something like that), but I really don't like how these lupin look.

WoW's Worgen are better rendered than the Lupin.
