Bardam's Mettle is nothing more than a tutorial on how to dodge

What? Granted, when my party first did that fight we were like what the hell is going on, but we dodged everything just fine.

A lot of people will be like that since there has never been a fight that is purely dodging. It does test your reaction for sure, but I kid you not, I seen wipes on it, my second run was a disaster, I had 3 new people and the tank wouldn't let me explain the basics of it to anyone so we wiped, and even after I did get words in, the Sam we had just nonchalantly walked out of things and still got hit.

AoE dodging simulator... It's placed wrong in the game... That fight should be the FIRST dungeon in the game. (Only mostly kidding.)

I loved that 2nd fight, even posted in the gold saucer section in hopes we can see something similar as a GATE. :3

Why get mad though? You can literally Carry an ENTIRE party through it. Surely they aren't the only ones messing up if your group fails it.

Just because it's entirely soloable doesn't mean 3 other people should flat out refuse. If we have to carry people through fights like this why even have group content?
