If your entire part has wipped to it, then your entire party is bad in general, especially considering only ONE person has to pass each test.A lot of people will be like that since there has never been a fight that is purely dodging. It does test your reaction for sure, but I kid you not, I seen wipes on it, my second run was a disaster, I had 3 new people and the tank wouldn't let me explain the basics of it to anyone so we wiped, and even after I did get words in, the Sam we had just nonchalantly walked out of things and still got hit.
Are you kidding me? You people bitch at SE for not giving you unique content, and when he hands it to you, you shit on it. I for one think the second fight was very creative. It's not even hard. Only one person has to beat it. If your party can't get past it, that means you're all bad at the game, YOURSELF INCLUDED.
If you look at it again, you'll notice that the tether indicating the target has arrows pointing away from the midpoint, toward the ends, to suggest that the target should run away. You'll find this mechanic in some other boss fights too.
Error 3102 Club, Order of the 52nd Hour
I think this was a great fight. It definitely caught me off-guard when i couldn't attack at first.
I hope they do more like this in the future.
Ya but if you remember the 2nd boss of Gubal HM. a similar mechanic was used there.The only thing that threw me off as far as boss mechanics go initially is the fact that the first boss' charge does MORE damage if you're close to it, as opposed to less like most attacks of the nature.
I made the mistake of using Cover on a melee DPS who was being targeted by it, and it didn't end nicely.
When you see someones glamour with non matching boots
I enjoyed it was something a bit different.
Yeah, except that once the AOE occurred, the previous memory scream at me to stay close and deeps away(Sophia). So while I was relatively close to the boss, I couldn't see the arrow, lol.
I honestly didn't even realize that because of how minimal the damage scaling is there compared to this instance of it (You'll take maybe 50% more damage if you're at point blank with Living Flame, but here, you take probably closer to 300% more).
A lot of melee DPS wouldn't even bother running out because of how inconsequential it was.
@OP
This is one of the more interesting fights in the game. I spammed this dungeon a few times while level locked on msq. Every group I've been in had taken the time to say something positive about it.
A ranking system is not needed at all. I would argue that your bad experience of causal content is directly proportional to your desire to stare at other people's epeens. While I know you'd like to get up close to all of the epeens to feel for size, I would suggest focusing on things like the environment, mechanics, or personal performance instead.
I liked it, its different from just killed X boss dodge Y aoes, it does also show how bad people are at dodging but also helps to train people at the same time which imo is a good idea cause doing the Primals really showed how bad people are at reading mechanics when its on the screen.
Ok the 2nd primal fight the text is super super fast.
