A Revisit - Flying Ponies

Hello guys,

So, with Stormblood being upon us and flying mounts all being able to dive, I'm wondering if it would be possible to make Slepnir, the primal ponies, and Nightmare, all able to fly (not just Kirin). Since we have a flying Adamantoise, realism isn't really an issue here (plus the name Final Fantasy). Here's how I would have each mount's flying animations
Slepnir: A trail of black swords behind the mount
Primal: A trail of their underlying element (E.G. Ramuh - lightning)
Nightmare: A trail of darkness

None of these mounts would sprout wings which would give Kirin a still unique animation, and it would also give them extra use by being able to fly and dive.

Pretty sure they know how to do it, it would be almost exactly like Fenrir.

they just haven't given it a priority to assign a graphics dev for it. they've said Slepnir is next highest on their list since people paid for it. and probably tank mounts before other horses.

The new tank mounts added in SB fly.

I would love Sleipnir to be able to fly. I was kind of hoping 4.0 would be it.

I always assumed they would make the ponies fly as soon as the shiny new birds were all finished coming out. All the birds are out now, so you no longer have to worry about taking attention hot new thing. Please let us use our ponies for content outside of PVP maps.

Once I've learned how to fly in the areas, it'll become mostly useless to me, outside of ARR zones that is. Which is a shame because I love the ARR ponies. I'd be using Markab a LOT if it could fly. I love Ramuh's theme.

Also, an addendum now I have gained nightmare (finally)... can we have the Ascian theme play, as in Thunderer. The Maker's Ruin is also another option. Just to help give the mount some extra edge

First they have to had 2 legs to Slepinir. That's the main reason I'll never buy it, even if it's on sale.

The skittles (aka primal ponies) need to fly. Every time I look at them I'm so disappointed that they can't.

No more "Eh, they fly because why not?" animations.
