OP is on Balmung lol. Tired of Balmung players crying about queue times and blaming SE.

I've said this before, my server has at most 1 minute queues if any at all. The most populated WoW servers have huge queue times as well, especially on expansion launch. Not only a SE thing.

Dude this was 5 years ago. Legion had a smooth launch. And let me tell you that 2k people in WoW log in faster than 2k in XIV. It is not the same.

Legion wasn't that smooth. There were still que times and server lags even with the instances up. It wasn't all fairies and rainbows....admittedly nothing like the craptacularity of WoD's launch. Since Friday, the longest queue I've been stuck in is 785 which took less then 5 minutes to run down. And I have had no lag at all. My character got locked out for a half hour for some reason, which they fixed a half hour later and I had to wait a bit to get over Raubann's wall because everybody DDoS'd the instance server. No biggie. I did some roulettes...which didn't boot me out and got all the side quests and alt quests in the peaks done while running some FATEs. But I'm on a "Standard" server. On Primal. So, there's that.

Do you seriously want to go this route? How many expansions did it take them tho? How much more ressources do they have than the FFXIV team? What is less to expect from a billion dollar company?
