They did provide you with a solution. Free Transfers. No one is making you stay on balmung but your own choices. SE didn't make you play on the most populated server on the game. SE also didn't make you stay. When you are playing only 2h-3h per day and the queue time is 2.5h-3h, the result is:
You pay but you don't play!
I cannot believe SE cannot provide us with a solution to that problem! We pay for the game with a nice extra to have the early access, we are paying for a subscription every month, to not being able to play...... Really frustrated!
In 2017, at the era of cloud computing, it is hard to believe that SE is unable to give us a better experience!
And then you read about all those players who are putting themselves in one of the 2 actions that prevent the auto log out after 30mn, to make sure they will not have to queue again! More Frustrating!
However, Square Enix did allow certain servers to exceed a population cap that they were fully aware their hardware couldn't support.
The buck stops there. It's really as simple as that.

I'm pretty sure you missed the entire point of the thread in spectacular fashion. OP is talking about queue times to LOG IN (which are based on server numbers,) not queue times for the DF (based on the data center.) You're the one making pointless arguments. It shows here that you have been a member of FF14 since May 2014.....does that mean you did not know that instances and duties are data center wide.....not just server or did you just forget it? So your whole point to counter Kilyua is utterly pointless as no matter what server they are on they still get qued with a entire data center! So they would still get longer que times!
