    4.1 DRK CHANGES

    Yoshi-P I am not happy with what DRK has become and suggest that you take some suggestions from this thread into consideration.

    (Practical and should be tested and implemented ASAP)
    Delete Delerium and add its effect on BW/BP via CnS. Also buff the amount of MP restored to compensate.

    Delete Dark Passenger and bring its potency to Quietus.

    (Impractical but would be awesome)

    Salted Earth 5% chance to inflict
    Blight. Effect next Dark Arts weapon skill deals critical damage

    TBN w/ Grit stays the same.
    TBN w/o Grit prevents Dark Arts from falling off after one use. 10~15sec.
    Blood gauge doesn\\'t refill after.

    i want a slightly increased enmity modifier for Unleashed and Abyssal Drain
    that Quietus becomes an off-GCD
    and the removal or at least a shortened cooldown on Delirium

    all in all: i want to be able to aoe again

    single target seems fine

    Abyssal Drain generates 2 blood gauge per hit outside of Grit.

    Delirium gives a 5-10% damage boost for 20 seconds.

    Either remove Dark Passenger, reduce its MP cost, or keep it as a free CD with only 100 potency.

    All in all I really like how DRK is right now, I just wish Delirium was a little more impactful, and I want a reason to put DP back on my hotbar.

    Yeah, Delirium feels like the only interesting thing about the new Blackblood mechanic. Its fun but too infrequent with that 2min recast.

    They could remove or lower it's recast so we can keep Price/Weapon up 100% of the time or close to it, with Q/BS being a Blackblood dump in-between.

    Or they could add the Price/Weapon duration extension to Q/BS too, and add a 2,700 potency self heal to Delirium in Grit. (This way DRK now has their own self-heal, and DRK gets a DRG-Lite rotation: Quietus/Bloodspiller being DRK's version of DRG's Fang&Claw/WheelingThrust, Price/Weapon being our BoTD).

    Replace the new Price/Weapon trait with a Dark Arts trait instead. And that trait allows DA use to build blood instead of Price/Weapon. With that we have a more logical dual resource system. MP into blood, blood into MP.

    Blood Weapon increases attack speed and reduces cooldown time, I like to see that buffed further opposed to half-hearted increases to damage potencies. (except in the case of DPassenger because as is it there is little value)

    And Blood Price needs some additional effects now, like Weapon has.

    That would be more fun, and actually give DRK a resource management game back. We don't manage Darkside anymore because its braindead, so let us focus on BW/BP timers, and have those CDs do more than just provide MP/Blood.

    DADP I would only use if MP is full and used for the blind in big pulls as a pseudo mitigation tool. Otherwise I feel it is worthless.

    Sole Survivor PvP version needs to be the standard in PvE, by itself since Grit SS gives more MP then SoSu does I find it lacking and pointless. Whereas PvP restores 25% resources, increases damage, and restores 20 blood on kill. Oh and PvP is 60 recast and in PvE it's 120 seconds. lol

    DRK in PvP is a far more enjoyable class than in PVE.

    Well, quietus seems really out of place, BloodSpiller seems clunky.
    What i would like to SE take into consideration:

    -Have quietus and Bloodspiller being OGCD, both skills seems weird and out of place atm;

    -Personal idea for quietus... make it an AE dot OR a debuff skill;

    - also why not bring skills like scourge back and make it cost blood (like 20-30 blood);

    -DRK were aways worried about using the enmity combo, why not put some flavor on it: make spinning slash or power slash generates a hefty amount of blood (like 20-30) with a decent internal cd on blood generation (30s).

    -BP nerf for AE situations made it a complete pile of S*** on single pull situations. You only use it because... why not;

    -if you want to exclude a skill, just do it with unleash and replace it completely with AD (including learning lvl, unmend proc and not breaking a combo);

    -Reduce DP mana cost, reduce its dmg, increase its enmity. Blinding stuff is too expensive now.

    You ain't lying there. Plunge resets, bloodspiller silencing shit, unmend pulling crap towards you, Souleater replenishing blood, mp and hp, Sole Survivor being omg awesome, Black Night as your oh shit shield.

    Yeah I love DRK in PvP.

    I like this idea, and got me thinking, if they're going to integrate Black Blood into a core DRK mechanic, why not introduce it at earlier levels instead of at lv. 62 and actually have it integrated with the class instead of just being a flashy high-potency skill every minute or so? This also helps remedy the issue of low level classes being boring to play since it feels like half of their actions got gutted.

    As it stands, using DP on a single target is a waste, even when using DA. It looks like they intended DP to be used only on groups of enemies, much like how something like steel cyclone and total eclipse is used. With that in regard, honestly, I think DP is fine the way it is. However, with these changes, running content on Drk below level 60 has become rather boring....but it'd be incredibly difficult to give Drk any kind of significant change without it having some kind of negative effect on Drk at lvl 70. You guys really need to keep that in mind.
