I mean, I disliked him for a long time in ARR, but towards the end and through HW he grew up and developed into one of my favorite characters. I'd be sad to see him go.

I wasn't so keen on him in ARR, but I watched him grow up some in HW enough that I like him now. If he died I'd be so upset. I don't actually like Alisae so we'll see, we'll see.

For the love of all things holy please no, lets keep Alphinaud.
At least he had a character arc and got knocked down a peg and humbled after the Scion fiasco. Throughout HW he becomes a genuine companion and starts to fuss over you instead of viewing you as a mere tool as he did in ARR. (we were kinda a tool for everyone in ARR lol) He's a complete dork if you pay attention too, scared of ghosts, gets bullied by his sister, Krile, and teased by Estinien in HW. To be honest he's the butt of a lot of fun jokes in the MSQ, and i know for certain if he died or disappeared the majority of the playerbase would probably miss him in the long run.

Lyse however, dear god am i hoping she gets some character growth in, cause for now she is doing nothing but rushing, being rude, and starting trouble constantly without learning from her faults.

Papalymo kept her on a tight leash, and I hope someone beats it into her that getting killed out of recklessness is a waste of the chance his sacrifice gave her. Alternatively, I hope she realizes that blind zealotry for the cause is what lead Ilberd to the path he took.

Well at least she was more clumsy and lighthearted when she pretended to be Yda, but I agree with you. She's heading down that sloppy path, and she doesn't seem to notice the harm her actions cause around her.
