Let me get this straight.
You want WAR to not have linked skills, therefor increasing button bloat, because your hotbars are too empty and you want to see the other stances skills for some reason?

Another Macro idea would be to make 2 macro buttons
/ac "fell cleave"
/micon "fell cleave"
and another that says
/ac "inner beast"
/micon "inner beast"
I don't know if the icons will grey out when the moves aren't available but at least the images shouldn't swap out when you switch stances.
I thought I had seen every complaint possible about the expansion but this and the Shield Oath/Sheltron thread have caused me to reconsider.
I'd rather see it done further, such as by activating Deliverance on swapping to Warrior and than combining it and Defiance as well to toggle back and forth...
Unlike the gaudy and information-displacing gauges, this seems like an objectively and purely good change to me.
As I have stated, I have my skills setup differently for each stance, suddenly seeing the wrong skills on my hotbar is confusing and has lead to mistakes in gameplay already for me. As I have also said I would be happy with an option in settings to turn this new feature off. Let me manage my own skills. This goes really for any class that has skills that upgrade, let me choose to have a button that says ruin 1 or aero 1 or whatever just let it be grayed out if I'm not supposed to be using it. If they want to offer a way to condense skills that's great, but give me the option to not have this as well. I like having many buttons.
I get the request. and I can empathize. there are plenty of things in the game that don't make sense to me, and are just clumsy and of poor design. But I don't see them changing the button setup for warriors in the near future. They have too much fine tuning for all the classes to do as it is, and outside of that, there are far more QoL changes needed in the game that impact everyone. This change would only impact a very small portion of the population.
Genuine question: Do you have a macro to change your hotbars layout?
If so, why do you want to place unavailable skills on your hotbars? I mean, if I understand correctly saying "I see the wrong skill" means you see Inner Beast instead of Fell Cleave. But you seeing Inner Beast means you are in Defiance or neither stance, while you seeing Fell Cleave means you are in Delivrance.
If you do not have any macro, I can only guess that you used to have Inner Beast and Fell Cleave on two different keys.
I think this is the part people struggle to understand, what is the difference in term of "mistakes in gameplay" between seeing a grey Fell Cleave and an Inner Beast besides using this Inner Beast when pressing the key by mistake (fat finger or anything)?
I am legitimately confused what mistakes in gameplay can be made. Your kit from stance to stances is almost entirely identical. It differs (sort of) by 3 abilities, each mirroring each other. 1 single target spender, 1 AoE spender, and one self buff spender. Instead of those being 6 abilities, it was truncated to 3. Your single target button (Inner Beast/Fell Cleave) will always be that, likewise the rest.
Why would your hotbars be different per stance if everything is the same? I am genuinely curious as I can't wrap my head around it.
