smh, The reason this stuff happens is because customers allow it to happen. There should of been a beta test, they should of looked at the numbers of people who bought the game and accounted for that, and they should of made sure they had extra server hardware in case of crashes. All of this could be prevented. You are in fact defending them when you should be asking why. We have no idea what is going on. There is no ETA. They literally came on and said..." We need to patch servers those who got locked out of their character... well sorry but you can't play your character for an undisclosed amount of time. Have fun!" Give me a break.

You forgot to mention they shouldn't have locked 98% of the content behind instanced MSQ. A 5 yr old would make better design decisions.

I had early access too, woke up at 10 Uk time, went out to library around 12:30, was there for like an hour, went to eat around 30 min after I was there, then gym for 1 hour and half then wonder woman. I had no issues doing so on a day where it was early access. Some people does everything to make sure they wont miss it-. It's expected and deal with it. It's fine to complain but many here doesn't get that server WILL get overloaded. If you really thought this woulnd't have happened you are delusional and completely just ranting out of the blue.

People have a right to complain on top of your monthly payments, you were offered a pre order for early access that you had to pay for of course....SE should have been looking at those pre order numbers and should have been like "Shit! Our servers may not be able to handle this" there should have been some type of plan and action for some of the worse case scenarios but no SE probably thought those numbers wouldn't matter so this is a legitimate grievance and you shouldn't tell people not to be disappointed about something they paid for lol it's like don't be disappointed I only put three tires on your car even though you paid for four but I will send it in the mail in two weeks....SE screwed up worse then they did with HW Early access....so please complain more we are the customers paying for a crappy product currently

And yes I expected day one problems but here we are day two and slowly rollling into three with no solution in sight lol

Pretty sure I don't remember server crashes with Zilart, Promy, Wings of the Goddess,ToAU, etc. You know, ALL the expansions for FFXI, SE's other mmo.

Can't progress the msq, can't complete ANY instances without instant disconnect, poor connection to their servers while patting themselves on the back for upgrading their servers.

So no, I CAN'T recall a major companies expansion being such a failure besides the current mmo of SE's. Perhaps they need to take some lessons from FFXI.
