Been a smooth ride level grinding in Palace of the Dead all day

It was the same for me until 30 minutes ago. Whenever you queue, there's a chance you will get kicked with an error and you won't be able to get back in until the instance times out. Which is 60 minutes for POTD.

They should not sell Early Access to a game that has no room for you on their servers to play it.

Totally agree. They definitely do not have enough resources to support this kind of user base, and to sell at the exact same time as expansion Mog Station upgrades that let you congest the servers further by skipping main scenario quests and level???? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING??? Sure, maybe after you give it time for people to get through these already congested instances, but since 5 a.m. yesterday I am still stuck on Raubahn and this was not at all thought through, guys. Horrible, horrible start to this game.

I wonder how heavily jump potions contribute to this mess. Did an unexpected amount of players decide to make use of them, skip 2.0/3.0 and then charge right into 4.0 content further flooding the new zones? If so, they really should have waited a couple of weeks before implementing them.

Probably not much. I know exactly one person who Jumped main, and a handful of others who Jumped their alts. Meanwhile, on balmung ALONE there were roughly 3000 people stuck in Fringes last night. There's no way in hell that SO many people bought jumps they locked at least 5000 people out of Raubahn on Aether.

The jump potions were a mistake.

I disagree with jump potions being a mistake. I happen to benefit from them and it's helped me gain a deeper appreciation for the story and my job. Also allowed me to unlock several new classes.
