I like the class within itself.

I just don't like that it's called rdm.

The "white magic" is for the most part just whm nuke spells... that should have been blm spells to begin with but they gave it to whm (areo).

Wish it was a true balance of the blm mind set and whm... where nuking and buff/healing caused the balance instead.

Yes they have raise and a small heal... but so does smn but I don't think anyone would consider smn a rdm

Aero has been white magic since as early as FF3.

I'm more referring to the constant changes from 1.0 where they only gave blm half the elements as they used to... (granted originally thm wasn't the elemental class... just all screwy)

I played a bit this morning was loving it. Have not touched SAM yet so can't compare but I really like RDM

Ya right now people are learning that RDM is more fun than SAM gameplay wise.

Most players started SAM first because of Sword DPS Job, Katanas, and/or etc and had little expectations for RDM in the start.

For now the Red Mage and Samurai jumpers will be adjusting itself now as players realize their prefered gameplay style.
