I just got booted from the game and was met with a 3k queue and I was just like "I have other games in my backlog I can play, I have no super rush to get through the story so I'll go do something else." My other half and his friend are back from a convention after midnight, I'm hoping it calms down a bit by then but I'm not holding my breath >__<

Midnight won't be any different. You have to expect things starting to momentarily get better at around 4am CET, so in about 7 hours from now.
And then again that's just speculating ; I don't really expect everyone to be sleeping at that time, tbh.

NA servers start to go die around 10 PM. By around 2 AM, not many are on. I honestly think it's your best shot at getting in. Most people have school or work and can't stay up all night.

I think the worst part in all this is SE is just being silent. We have no idea what they are working on anymore, and this isn't reassuring.
I'm sure they read these forums atm, so I'm not really sure why they aren't saying anything. Seems to be the same with every video game company ever, to be honest, aha.
