Making an official server for any special gameplay would be the most costly thing to do. Shall we make a seperate gather and crafter server for people who dont want to bother with battle classes? People who RP just need to realize they're their own worst enemy, if you have 8 different characters strictly for RP, and you're using housing/apartments, you're hurting your servers limited resource.

Not to mention any time someone wants to create a new character, that impacts name availability, and server que times, Balmung essentially created their own problems, the legacy players kinda got shafted with all of this, as sad as that is. Balmung will likely never smooth out for the better, especially with 4.0 around the corner, I don't see it opening back up for years.

I am not completely sold on your first statement. Lots of games have server types. But other games have better GM systems so I can give you benefit of the doubt. But the second part is a blatant lie, a falsehood and makes me angry. Balmung did not create this problem. SE did by taking cash for transfers and also not having a real lock system in place. What kind of lock just authenticates how many people are on?
