Actually, i talked to a rep today around 6pm...and he told me that many people reported the issue and i clearly asked him, But will i be able to play the dlc once it releases for early-access since i bought it before the issue or will i have trouble?


He replied : The issue will be resolve once the store is updated and that i would be fine to play it by then.


Its 10pm atm, store finished updating hours ago and still nothing. Yes i know about the service list and pre-order theme (which i got today). But it's still an annoying issue when its so close to early-access

i'll say what i said in my last post and expand upon it. with Heavensward it made the ps4 client download a full DLC before the patch went live a few days prior, but with this, there was a count down on DLC with no other things, that has now changed to a theme and a avatar and for me, the avatar is now gone.
so theres no Pre downloaded DLC (and the EU PSN person i talked to today said that they cannot check for me. saying they cannot offer help on that.) the Pre-order bonus is gone, but the theme suddenly downloaded and is now the only thing showing i downloaded something.

it isnt 'being crybabies' when it involves quite a bit of money. when something is not communicated it becomes quite worrisome. especially when for some see that there isnt a trace saying they bought it in the first place. imagine if you ordered something just to find out you never got it and are told to buy again. tats the fear some have.

Here's a weird thing I found out.. your pre-order bonuses, if you check your theme's you'll see the pre-order dynamic theme with the timer still on it

With all the people that have no doubt called into support center for Sony I think they will have it download at the end of the timer or they'll be getting a lot more "comments" then what they have had so far.

Is what shows for FFXIV however I apparently also don't own Stormblood according to a rep I spoke to so I don't know what to do now. I have no countdown and I have no avatar or theme or anything to show other than this screenshot

I checked just to be sure.. Still have my Pre-order avatar, Timer on my Pre-order theme says 1 hr 17 mins.. so I'll just wait and see what happens =/

The timer seems like it is for the theme, at least for me.
Oddly enough i checked under my collection or whatever it was and no Stormblood, only thing i have is Heavansward and no other add ons.

If we do not have the early access like the Pre-order details said (and theme for that matter), why would we be cry babies? lol
People are just worried is all. And it is more about principle for me, else i could have just waited for actual Sb release day to order.

Something like this happened with ARR launch. Those of us who played the beta were told we didn't have to reinstall the game, but that we needed new codes for early access.

Turned out that was wrong. We did need a new client, which we found out after much hair pulling.

Then their system for early access was completely f-ed. Depending on where you bought the game, you got a early access code from that vendor. But this wasn't actually for early access, it was to submit on a SE website to get another code for early access. Problem was it gave us codes for the wrong region, which we only found out when we tried to use it at mogstation and now had bad access codes married to our accounts. So a lot of us from beta never got our early access (I think I finally got in a day after the game launched). Instead we got a month or two for free for their screw up.

Good to see their keeping up the tradition.

On the plus side, my pre-order theme just auto-downloaded, and it's cute as hell.

StormBlood preorder bonus theme download countdown just finished, and now it's attempting to download. Of course since someone cut the main fiber links in my state, my ISP is unable to give me better than 0.5Mbps, so it'll be a while.

My net is literally slower than dial up, 13 minutes to DL 17MB...
