So getting items to craft is junk now? Guess you do not craft then =/
The fish comment was this, you take up a few slots for the bait then when you are trying to catch something, even if it is specific, it fills 5-10 slots from NQ/HQ variant on everything, and I have not exactly memorized every single fish that is valuable to sell. The expansion we are getting helps with that, but I am wondering what node cycles you end up doing. You need a lot of room, when you do node cycle unspoileds too. Or Ephemeral Node farming, If you want to be most efficient, you need lots of room and pick specific times to break them down.
You can sit here with a brd that is not glamed (some people glam all jobs btw) and go " you do not know what I do" but you also do not know how people play as well.
PS, 2 retainers is not enough selling slots for a real crafter. You def do not gather or craft a lot

http://xivdb.com/item/7609/cashmere+cloth http://xivdb.com/item/8222/ixali+oaknotThis is laughable. Here's what you and the other people who don't understand priorities need to understand. If you go out collecting junk and don't spend time cleaning your junk out and then proceed to beg for more space to get more junk, then you're doing something wrong. Mind you, one man's junk is another man's treasure. But you're fooling yourself if you think every single thing you get in the game is treasure.
Please check the ilvl range for the recipes for this item alone, good checked. Now check what the next item buys. Why in 3.5 should I have to farm an item for the second time I already farmed to make a random 250 item? If SE told me tomorrow that 4.0 would be only 4.0 recipes/items. I would literally vendor 4 retainers of the items I have. That still doesn't solve the seasonal housing items. Not to mention you can't store the wedding items you paid for.
I am not sure how to explain this simpler. If you design a game that punished players for getting rid of items. Players will keep items. But then charge them extra to keep items. People will not be happy. What you are I do in game is debatable forever. The way the game is designed right now is not.
Can we just ignore this guy already? He's either run out of points to reinforce his stance or is simply a self-centered, selfish person who refuse to put himself in the shoes of others. Either way he's been derailing the thread for long enough.

I agree, it is why I was not spamming replying to him, I been watching though. I seen people do an alt where both the alt and main sell 8 retainers of stuff, (maybe even 2 alts but appeared the 3rd for covering all spec was more of an alt/ may of sell overflows for the mains, crafting materials that where spec locked.. I never counted their retainers so I am not sure) but they just focus on crafting and selling, that is a bit different then someone that does some crafting, not super hard core, while glaming all the jobs. Everyone is different, and with the currently bloat it seems most people do not have enough room (and this was shown when they announced the increase and people where cheering) However I am sure those people cheering would be disappointment so far with the lack of boosting storage (glam log, anything to boost ways of storing) and keeping retainers on 175 inventory. If the claim can't increase that due to problems well there is easy fix for that! Have retainers not deal with the MH or storing items! clearly being based on 1.0 is not going to go far?

Stop feeding the troll please.![]()
Um stop holding on to all that unless crap? o.O there is a npc that can resell you a lot of your "untradables" and "Binded" items and gear. Also a cool lil box that can hold a lot of that crap too. I don't see why player need to hold on to all their crap form 2.0/3.0 -_-
Again back to what I said befor, "Work. With. You're. Guild." Less you will need to hold on to, less crafting items, less junk.
To many ppl are still trying to master every craft and job in the game, pick 3-4 at a time, stop trying to do it all and maybe you will have more spaces.

Calamity Salvager sells some items from seasonal events, not all (e.g. Songbird). Armoire holds some items, but not that many and it strips dye from them. If you think the majority of people complaining about space in this thread don't know about these and use them as often as they can, you're wrong.there is a npc that can resell you a lot of your "untradables" and "Binded" items and gear. Also a cool lil box that can hold a lot of that crap too...

Work with the FC? How exactly? I notice you didn't elaborate. The chest is tiny and most of my friends are short on space, too.
We should stop trying to do it all - one of the biggest selling points of this game is that you only need one character. The game was designed that way. Basically if you're telling us to stop playing the game as intended so we have more room in our inventories then you are simply confirming we really don't have enough space.
It's all about making more money with extra retainers.

They won't solve the issues, why would they ? some of my guildmates almost double to cost of there sub with the extra retainers they had to get as omnicrafters and glamour obsessed
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
