I think the worst were the couple times I forgot to turn it off after a group of mobs. Next pull, toss regen on the tank, turn cleric stance off, "dps" a bit, turn cleric stance on, try to heal... use benediction, wait a couple seconds, turn cleric stance off, cast regen, pretend nothing happened.

x3 Lustrates on my tank last night in the Aery, and he still died. Lag stance at its best.
Bye-bye Cleric Stance. You won't be missed. At least, not by me.

Theses time I double click the cleric stance to remove it and made my party wipe on raid while there was heavy aoe damages.
Theses time I clicked on it to remove it because, at this moment, I thought I had it but I didn't.
Theses time when I was dpsing without it.
Theses I spammed single target heal like hell and it didn't heal properly because Cleric didn't remove.
So many fail that happen any time at on any content. It's funny to think about it now.
But aside these fail I also will have good memories to stance dancing cause I found that fun to plan the best moment to do it and drop it.
I will miss it :'(

I won't miss it give me that full potency Assize on both healing and damage I need it I FUCKING NEED IT
Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh

Yeah I'll miss that part a little, too. When cleric stance behaved, it was pretty awesome. It's just most of the time it was like a cat and decided on the fly if it was going to come over to be pet.

When benediction is not available, I realize I've just wasted tetra and CS stance is stuck in that weird spot when it's active and shows a cooldown, I cast a stoneskin and hope it will keep the tank alive long enough for me to get out of CS. With stoneskin now gone, I am really glad they changed CS.

It's gonna take a long time to get CS out of my head now.
I know I'll instinctively keep hitting the hotkey to switch in and out of it.
I'll probably leave that hotkey empty or I know I'll overuse whatever skill I associate with it.

Me from two YEARS ago:
I'm not saying they listened to ME specifically, but it's clear they're on at least somewhat of the same wavelength.Better yet, remove CS entirely and have healers get their damage boost from their mind stat instead of int, adjust the spell damages accordingly, and let their mana management be the only thing determining how well they DPS, instead of how well they clumsily flip the CS switch on and off.
Also, accuracy is a dumb stat that's a hold over from when RPGs had two buttons. WoW got rid of all flavors of it for good reason (and they had like 3 different stats that translated into accuracy, lawl...).
Remove that crap and just let player attacks hit. Crit chance is enough RNG as it is.

I don't really get all of the anecdotes about Cleric Stance having a mind of its own, but I'm ready to see it go just to cut it out of the healer discussions.
Besides, as much as I like to talk about CS not adding real complexity or value to healer gameplay past the beginner experience, it is undeniably a powerful feature to be able to use damaging GCDs at will and with zero regard for the following 5 seconds. We'll be able to weave in attacks even in extremely tight places and/or when not knowing the full encounter.
Healers may be in a place between skeptical and outright alarmed (except for AST, which has pretty much no reason to be dissatisfied based on preliminary info), but we will probably come out of this patch pretty damned powerful in at least this sense.
