That be cool but i see a issue where players who want to do them can't due to all the craft just did it. But i really like that ideaI'm not sure if I made that suggestion in the past or someone else did, nevertheless, I'll mention it (again) anyway.
For Final Fantasy XIV 2.0, it would be nice for crafters if certain parts of the cities and camp would need repairs over time. Nothing major, just cracks, holes, etc. that would need repairs. This would happen randomly in town, not in a leve or a quest, but as "world" event. So, less used hallways might look older until players repairs them, camps nobody goes to would benefit from crafters making the trip there to repairs the tents, fences, etc.
It would make things less used by players feel somewhat abandoned. Again, it would not be something that completely destroys the view, just make things look older and in need of maintenance.
All the players would have to do is stop, target the cracks or holes, and perform the maintenance. It would give a small amount of exp and only take a short stop to complete once in a while (unless it has been abandoned a long time and there is lots of holes and cracks to repairs -- players could call other crafters in their linkshell for help).
It's the small details that makes a great game beyond great, excellent. I hope to see such small activities for players to take on on the spur of the moment. When we just take a breather and come relax in Eorzea without grinding, to truly enjoy this beautiful world.
(Or just get on the nerve of OCD players trying to make everything orderly, haha)repairing stuff around the world would make it a lot of fun for craft
