Whm is the new mch of the expansion (hated and rejected).
Have you seen the stigma already? it's freaking huge.

Stop thinking of confession as an aoe heal but rather a tank specific lustrate style proc and it starts making more sense, I can see it handling a lot like an additional freecure proc in usage. I think it'll be both engaging and viable assuming we get sufficient raid content that actually lots of tank healing.
You do make a very good point about the buff icon thing though. Being non targeted I guess it'll be usable on cooldown irrespective of if anyone has a confession stack or not? That will indeed likely make it annoying to keep a eye on even if we are only watching the tanks. Hopefully SE have thought of this already and will have some kind of visual cue for this.
Uh what? I'm hoping you mean on 3.0's launch? MCH is anything but hated and rejected currently.

Yes, she means people are viewing 4.0 WHM like they viewed 3.0 MCH.
Though really, WHM rejection has been happening for a while. Just gotten worse lately.

Did somebody get their hands on the new patch notes or something? because everyone here wants to assume that no change will happen at all from the stats and abilities we were shown that was created months before it was shown to the public. It's almost like even if they nerf the new ast abilities and add some kind of utility to the whm, players will still be too stubborn to get off the bandwagon of hate against whm.

We can only give feedback based on what we know at the moment. Taking a "wait and see" approach only leads to no feedback being given to the devs. All "wait and see" does is lengthen the time it takes for the devs to fix the problems.Did somebody get their hands on the new patch notes or something? because everyone here wants to assume that no change will happen at all from the stats and abilities we were shown that was created months before it was shown to the public. And not for nothing, if the devs thought WHM's initial SB design (up to the point we've seen so far) was the "right direction" in the first place, what sort of confidence should we have that waiting and seeing what goes live will fix everything that's wrong with it?
Stormblood's content will not be any more difficult to heal for AST or SCH as it is for WHM. It can't be. Why? Because all healers MUST be able to heal all content. That's ultimately the role of a healer. Therefore, when it comes down to it, if all healers are equally capable of healing all content, then we need to look at what they bring besides healing. They all dps relatively well so that's not much of a metric. But AST and SCH are both force multipliers with Balance and Chain Strategem, while WHM has nothing to offer the raid as a whole in that regard. WHM also has to contend with new mechanics that rely on rng, particularly with Plenary Indulgence which does absolutely NOTHING if you hit the button and no one has any Confession stacks.
WHM needs a raid wide dps buff to be competitive with AST and SCH. Making Presence of Mind affect the whole party via a trait is a very simple way of addressing that issue.
This is a really shallow analysis tbh.
You ignore the fact that spamming cures/cure 2s is a bad thing, especially when you bring up DPS.
WHM is gaining little outside of RNG and unneeded oGCD CDR. Also there is no way in hell SCH is going to lose its spot in a raiding team as it stands from what we've seen. Its just ridiculous to even suggest that it will.

Build lilies with Cure II.
Use assize.
Repeat.
(because assize is the best skill in whm toolkit imo)

While Regen is better than them both.
Also, if those Cure IIs aren't "required" then you're throwing away Stone IV casts, which is probably a bigger loss than what you'd ever hope to gain from a 12s recast reduction on Assize. If you're spacing them out, then well...hope you don't have to cast any other oGCDs in the meantime.
