though i haven't watched the trailor myself, i've been told by friends in my fc and linkshells that the ps4 FFXIV storm blood trailor contains some pretty hefty MSQ spoilers. i thought SE had a pretty strict policy regarding spoilers, and thought they ought to know.

So calm down guys. If you want to go in 100% blind then you wouldnt be watching any trailer of any kind. Otherwise just watch it and enjoy

Don't trailers always contain some spoilers that we don't know are spoilers, and spoilers that look like spoilers but turn out to be red-herrings because of the way they are cut or juxtaposed? It works that way with Movies, so I presume it works that way with games also.
