    Complete Heavensward MSQ for Stormblood?

    Hi all,

    To access Stormblood content you need to complete the Heavensward main scenario quests. However to access Samurai or Red Mage you don't need to do that. I believe this was already confirmed.

    Now, is it possible to complete all Heavensward content on the new job? Will you be able to get all job skills while not being able to go to the Stormblood content?

    I wonder because I haven't done all Heavensward MSQ yet, and would rather leave them for one of the new jobs to help level it up.
    Anyone any solid info on this?

    Hmm likely. Even though SAM and RDM are unlocked in a ARR zones, I suspect that you would need to reach Ishgard for all the other job quests. Like the other 13 jobs that ask you to be in Ishgard to unlock the second lv. 50 quest.

    True, but he asked if you'd need to enter Stormblood areas. To that question, I doubt it'll make you enter Stormblood zones for your 50-60 skills. That'd just be silly and defeat most of the purpose of allowing you to unlock them so early.

    The new Jobs will start in ARR areas so you will be able to use them to do the Heavensward MSQ if you wish. I think they said RDM was planned to start in Ul'dah. No idea about SAM.

    should work, on an alt i wanna get him to 50 and do praetorum then continue MSQ as SAM come 4.0. (and when i get back to it after im done leveling main, etc)

    Yoshida said shortly after HW launched that you wouldn't need to finish its MSQ for the following expansion. That could have changed, but I suppose we'll see soon.

    The whole point of putting SAM and RDM in ARR areas was so that you didn't need to complete the MSQ to unlock them.
    The MSQ doesn't care what class you do it on, provided it's a DoW/DoM.
