I doubt it'll happen anytime soon, but I'm betting the endgame for Garlemald will be the loss of a good chunk of it's conquests and eventually being reborn as a Republic like it originally was.

It has little to do with the lore, but I find every class getting their own special meter amusing. It reminds me somewhat of fighting games.
I wonder how they'll be integrated into the Job stories.

Sadly I suspect it will be covered in OOC info tutorials. It would be interesting to see an in-character treatment, though.
Some of the Job gauges do seem to have portions that don't come into effect until post-60. As a Scholar main, the fairy gauge will be sitting there unused until we get Fey Union at 70. Either we'll only be getting the gauge parts we need when they actually apply (unlikely, considering integrated gauges like Black Mage's), or an in-character explanation when we get our Jobs at 30 will have to mention how we have to ignore the irrelevant bits until more than 30 levels later.
The guages may not even show up until they're usable; so THM would have theirs like lv2, war gets theirs at 30, Drg 54 ,and so onSadly I suspect it will be covered in OOC info tutorials. It would be interesting to see an in-character treatment, though.

I'm curious about how the zone progression is going to be now that it's known Othard and Gyr Abania have three zones each (At minimum), and we go to Othard right after the first zone.
The thought of bouncing back and forth between continents sounds a little strange, but could be easily justified with aetherytes and what not.
Personally, I think it's gonna be less bouncing, and more going East to come back West. Something bad will happen right out the gate that forces us towards Othard, from which point we'll spend the next few levels moving back towards where we started and towards our ultimate victory (however Pyrrhic it ends up being).I'm curious about how the zone progression is going to be now that it's known Othard and Gyr Abania have three zones each (At minimum), and we go to Othard right after the first zone.
