So you never made any other friends or other connections in the game from what I assuming are your RL friends you referring to?

I'll ignore the attempts at making it personal.

That's not what I'm hinting at, people need an anchor to keep them in the game, take that away and they'll just drift away. Very few people look at a MMORPG and think ''I'll hop into that to make friends'' their friend invites them to play it with them and that's how they make your ''new connections''

I can count the people I know that joined a MMO alone on one hand. There's always someone they follow or join with.
