    Can we get rid of the stance penalty?

    Like where did this terrible idea come from?
    You already nerfed tanks DPS in 3.2
    Your changing back our main stat but locking us out of our DPS accessories(another nerf).
    And now we are being penalized for swiching stances by costing us half our gauge (another small nerf)
    You just made me quit tanking

    I agree entirely. I thought that especially with the changes made to healers and Cleric Stance that this would be the expansion in which they did away with tank stances, or at least the penalty for stance dancing. Instead, they doubled down on the mechanic and punish us even harder for daring to optimize our play.

    This was a huge concern that I wanted to see fixed, and as a result I'll absolutely not be tanking in this xpac, or any others until they meaningfully change the way that tanks play. I can deal with the DPS queues, plenty of other stuff to play and do while waiting!

    True but remember that you get your mitigation instantly while Warrior needs to use equilibrium or be healed.

    I would even be fine with adding like 5-10 more seconds to our stance like 15s or 20s recast/slightly higher MP cost for PLD. Cutting our gauge in half is way too harsh.

    It really doesn't matter to me, honestly. It still makes Warrior infinitely more clunky than it was previously. This was an opportunity for SE to expand tanking, make it more accessible and more rewarding. Instead, all they did was arbitrarily boost the skill ceiling without giving tanks anything to really show for their extended efforts. It's now harder to hit the exact same metrics for success that we hit previously.

    Tanking already felt a fraction as rewarding to optimize as DPSing, between the smaller numbers (the only metric the game gives you of success), the lack of visual feedback for damage mitigated, as well as the fact that you're sacrificing your defense for the sake of optimizing offense. 4.0 could have solved each of these and streamlined the tank role massively. I'm of the mind that all tank stance penalties should have been removed, if not outright baking the added defense + enmity into tank kits by default.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62Mp9iIs5U4&t=561s maybe on drk possible but in this video paladin doesn't seem to be punished nearly as much as warrior. Only two skills even use the gauge on palidan. They have access to everything in either stance while warrior has their best abilities locked behind deliverance, and their two best self heals locked in tank stance.

    Can we have someone from the Forum mod or Dev team,consolidate all these Tank stances problems threads.

    As for my opinion, i think adding another penalty to warriors and paladins (didnt seem it on Drk) make them even less desireable
    for new players.

    Please keep the stance swap the way it is.

    We should be aiming to make Tanking more inviting. This has the opposite effect.

    The dev team recently changed Enochian to make it "feel better" and play smoother but these stance swap changes to WAR have the opposite effect.
