Did someone forget one of the most used Rules of the Internet?

That's such a BS excuse. Shameful, Yoshi. Viera are depicted constantly with all kinds of footwear, the heels aren't some racial trait.Team having trouble with Viera's high heel, as current shoes won't fit - and then people ask for races like this.
Q: Not to bug you, Yoshida. But I'm a big fan of FFXII's Fran. The Viera race was considered for Heavensward but never included and Stormblood marks the second time they've been left out. Should I give up hope?
A: I don't think you should give up hope. I mean we're hoping Final Fantasy XIV will have a very long lifespan. With that being said. Fran and the Viera race have a very high heel and trying to depict that in Final Fantasy XIV is challenging. They won't be able to wear any shoes that exist in Eorzea right now.

At this point it'd be a miracle that they'll ever add a playable race that has a muzzle/beak/long face at all, much less anything wider than Roe(don't know how to spell the rest of their name and I'm lazy). I mean I don't think they're incapable of making any of the changes they'd need, but rather I think they'd stay on the convenient side of things.
shoes are useless, when ever i get glamour i always have trouble finding shoes that fit the glamour and always end up with a pair of sandals that look similar to being barefoot, really rare that i find glamour to have shoes/boot that match the outfit. All they need to do is make shoes invisible on equippable like the belt.

O concur with that, usualy in MMo,fantasy whatever, beast usualy dont have foot wear, they are bare feet most of the time, just like banga, because they have claw on their feet, they usualy are bare feet,so thats not an excuse.shoes are useless, when ever i get glamour i always have trouble finding shoes that fit the glamour and always end up with a pair of sandals that look similar to being barefoot, really rare that i find glamour to have shoes/boot that match the outfit. All they need to do is make shoes invisible on equippable like the belt.

I....I wouldn't mind being a moo moo. Look at how cute it is when it blushes:
I wouldn't mind playable Ivalice moogles too. If they got stretched a little bit like the ff12 ones

They have spiked heels in XII. Tactics and the XIV concept art have them with more rabbit-like feet, but considering Auri were already on the table and wouldn't have required any extra work, I can understand why Viera were shelved.

Just no, thanks.
This game's story is based on the concept of humanoid vs beastmen. Which is why beastmen will probably never be playable.
Viera is where it's at (and where the money is for Square Enix, and I'm sure they know that).

Yes and no,cause during heavensward, you should have noticed that not only beastmen can summon primal,so you argument is totaly invalid starting HW,then you cannot deny all ivalice lore and background just because you decided to.
Any beast from ivalice can be a playable race.
