Considering that the Viera are pretty much bunny versions of the Miqo´te with weird feet, would it not be best to simply give the miqos a "third tribe" option to include them?

That's a great idea!! While we're at it why don't we go ahead and combine Au'ra under the Miqo'te flag too! They're just reptilian Miqo'te anyways right? -_-

I've argued that as a compromise. This thread says no.

I can compromise, my desire for Viera can range from many different takes on it. But that ^ is not compromise. That is being willfully ignorant so one can make a cute quip.
