Did you take into account the actual MP increase you get from leveling 60-70?

Yes that's taken into account, its the current cost of the spell versus the cost of the spell at 70. I believe we get 17k mana at 70 in i290 so that means one aetherflow wont even cover 2 broils/1adlo etc. Makes me scared if anything is actually healing intensive honestly.
Just did some napkin math, keeping dots up fulltime for a minute and plugging away with broils on a single target will cost us 21,480 mana without a single healing spell cast during that minute since only physick is cheaper than any other spell I figured it was unnecessary to calculate healing since more often than not youre gonna toss an adlo or succor anyway. So without drains assuming we used aetherflow for healing instead, we end up at 4200 mp at the end of a single minute. Even with drains 7600 so I mean its not looking fantastic lol.

I'm personally disappointed. If Aetherflow is reduced, it basically forces me to get the cross class mana regen skill, which I don't like. The loss of Bio potency is a hit to our ST DPS and AoE DPS and I feel we have been hit the hardest in this department.

I don't mean to dismiss your argument, cause honestly the nerfs and dumbing down of SCH and SMN made me decide on dropping the ACN class entirely, which I always felt was one of the most beautiful gameplay designs in both the healer and DPS iterations, even if SMN ended up not being super optimal for speedkill compositions.

However, SCH actually had a slight gain in single target DPS. AoE DPS is another story, of course, which is basically non-existent and one of the heaviest nerfs the game has ever seen, but single target is going to see a slight potency increase from the potency-per-GCD average that SCH currently has in Heavensward. This is mostly due to Broil II's potency increment.

If taking Cleric Stance, those values should go up by around 3% every minute.

I have to say it's quite a bit of BS that Scholars get both Aetherflow and access to Lucid Dream (or whatever it's called).

Lets get rid of the MP regen on Assize to then shall we.

Seeing mixed info on a lot of tool tips, for example a lot of translated Jp stuff shows 10% for aetherflow while some Eng versions show 20% so yeah... fairly hard to go by the numbers at the moment, guess just need to wait a see...

Gameplay videos from the media tour show it only restoring 10%, as do the jp tooltips. English translations seem to be wrong in a lot of cases.

Yeah, I remember mrhappy saying aetherflow was the same and definitely saw MTQ showing the actually tool tip and it showed 20% still, but seen some Jp versions of the tool tips and those show 10%, so pretty unclear and not just aetherflow, seen such on a lot of other skills as well...
