Well we will sort of still have Stoneskin, it's just that they for whatever contrived reason they thought the Dark Knight should have it.
Don't remember the skill name: Shield 20% of the DRK's Max HP when used on self, 10% of DRK's Max HP when used on others. Pretty much Stoneskin I 2.0

I'm sorry, but if SS is the difference between a wipe and a clear, you are a bad healer.
Yes, because obviously the healer is 100% responsible for whether anyone in the party stands in the wrong place at the wrong time or ever makes a mistake. There really is nothing that is down to anybody else at all.![]()
The only time I ever use it anymore is when people have a healing potency debuff. Healers will survive without it.
It's not taken out, it had a name change and now drk can only use it.

holy, I can't even believe this. So for WHM the expectation is that when I get from lvl 60 to lvl 70 I should be happy to be able to "survive" still? Wow, really glad I'm buying an expansion and leveling up 10 more levels so I can continue to survive on the job I like to play. I guess that's what all the other jobs are like too, right, same job and they can still survive, that's why the raise the lvl cap each expansion..
They could have kept Stoneskin/Stoneskin II as a WHM skill. Make Stoneskill II as a 2.5 minute cool down and be useable in combat. I mean, give WHM something to stand out positively.![]()
I'll certainly miss Stoneskin. As a SCH, keeping Stoneskin up on party members before the start of pulls meant I could spend more time either focusing on the tank(s) or DPSing. It also worked well to pre-buff a tank for a tank buster to keep me from having to use my cooldowns as often. SCH didn't necessarily need it by any means, but aside from Cleric Stance, over all I probably got more use from Stoneskin than anything, even Swiftcast.....
