I Miss This Game

When they said the servers will be down I was like "Only a week? No problem..." This has been a very long week sadly lol. When the servers were up I could easily ignore it but now I find it hard not wanting to play. I did have a plan to seriously grind however so I guess thats part of my problem.

I open the ffxiv file and the music was that sappy tune this time. I almost shed a tear! .. all those people that died and I'm more concerned about my game. I'm going to hell and I'm bringing chicken.

I know this game is riddled with faults and problems that seem too large to be fixed, and half the time I find myself disappointed when I am playing... And yet, I've been missing it terribly too...

my friend as much as i grip about it myself i feel the same i miss playing even if it is not what i want it to be atm i'm hoping it will become that and i will play through the wait =/

Patience, we're unable to play a free to play game for a week or two because an entire nation has been hit by a massive earthquake, tsunami, and a nuclear emergency. Still, gotta get that gamer fix eh?

Despite the game's flaws, I've met many wonderful people on here. I miss them terribly, but I also long to experience the unique atmosphere the game had. This is one of the few games that allowed me to feel a sense of accomplishment after only an hour of play.

Why does every time someone talk about missing or wanting to play FFXIV someone brings up the disaster? Yes it is a tragedy and a lot of people hope the entire island won't blow up and see history made before our eyes... While I feel for them its annoying to always have someone bring it up for every topic. I didn't say "SE your idiots why you do that!" or "They should have servers in NA!"

Anybody that set plans for something should know that feeling when they aren't able to follow through with them.

1. You decided not to and would like to now but,
2. The game is unplayable at the moment because of the situation in Japan.

If you missed it, and the game was online, short of being made physically or mentally incapable of playing it between your last session and now, it's reasonable to assume that you're crying because the game isn't available.

I haven't really PLAYED this game since about Nov or Dec but now that it is down I am dying to get back in and play for some reason. Same with XI, I JUST told my Abyssea LS they needed a new WHM main to replace me cause I think I am done with XI and now I am sitting here pasted on both XI/XIV forums biding time for 2 games I had given up on in a way.

All the games that are available to me now somehow just became uninteresting and I just want XI/XIV back. >.>
