So.. Paladin!

I started this Game maining a Paladin.. but ended up being a Warrior due to people being: "Omg gtf out of here PLD".

With all the Buffs and changes it looks like Paladin is finally going to get the Spot the class fantasy intends: Main Tank.

Even the Damage output looks indredibly better... im looking specifically on that 20%? (not sure) Magical and physical Attack buff with Requiscat and then spamming holy Spirit with its ?500? Potency.

Also... Hell the AF 3 for PLD looks Awesome!

If the tooltip is correct Requiescat only buffs attack and healing magic so it only affects Holy Spirit and Clemency, i was hoping it would be +20% for all damage so you could combine it with FoF for pretty hefty dmg boost but i guess that would have been too much.

Well....that's why I raided only recently..rather not raid at all instead of changing my mains... pld, ast, mch.

At the beginning of HW they were not really good but I patient. Don't listen to others, if they don't like you, just tell the other 7 ppl to go that place....

1 thing i love about the change is now cover can be use as 1 of your defensive cd since it have 20% damage reduce now, alway thing this is a cool skill in HW but the situation to use is pretty minium

It's not exactly one of your defensive CD, since, from what I understand, it reduces redirected damage. But it's like a free physical-Rampart for the person you cover.

I really like the protective aspect of that, along with the new skills, which make PLD a much more valuable OT than before. And in fights with very few AoE damage, you can turn around so that your Passage of Arms includes the main tank

well, unless there is an error on tool tip, in the lastest vid of mrhappy about pld, he said, that effect reduce every damage come to pld while covering your pt member, techniquely you are under rampart while doing it

New cover will work nicely to those shared cleaves from boss

he also said you don't need to face your enemy for parry and block the attack, that mean, maybe you can turn your back to boss while active passage of arm to cover your party, so your party can still have bonus from rear and backstab boss

If that's the case, it's awesome

EDIT: Apparently, it's a typo. In JP tooltip, only damage taken through Cover are reduced. Still awesome when Covering the Main Tank.
