DRK is going to take the place of Warriors as OT, which will bring nothing to the group anymore.
Didnt warriors had still the slashing debuff?
Yea, though SAM and NIN both bring it as well (isn't a DPS loss for either).
DRK brings Blackest Night, which is good but comes at the cost of WAR's better CD kit. It's entirely possible PLD/DRK will be the meta, but it's a very small difference between WAR and DRK - PLD, however, is a must-have imo.
I understand seeing the videos that blackest night brings 50 gauge points, so it is a free bloodspiller after execution (a little bit stronger than feel cleave under dark arts). So you can guess that it will be spammed each time it is possible, even in OT position. It will be very helpfull for the tank damage mitigation.Yea, though SAM and NIN both bring it as well (isn't a DPS loss for either).

Not much will change with the meta. DRK/WAR will still be the party comp for most world clears, calling it now.
DRK just got their own version of Inner Beast, albeit even better. DRK/WAR combined have not lost much together. PLD will be nice for groups not knowing what to expect, and for the majority of raiders who actually need the help surviving.
They've basically given everyone more to work with.
I thought NIN only have it in PvP now?
When I saw the tooltip for the new "shadowfang" that is a three piece combo and has the DoT (like DE merged with it) I saw the slashing resistance as PvP only.
EDIT:
YEah, PvP only

PVP now has it's own set of individual actions separate from PVE actions, so this shouldn't be the case. Probably just a tooltip error.
