More disappointed in the lack of sustain and the loss of the DADD + DADP evasion wombo combo for dungeons for my 40% evasion buff.I don't honestly get all this doom and gloom for DRK.
I don't like the fact that they removed our dot or nerfed the damage of unleash but for the rest i'm still waiting to actually playing the class and seeing how it handle with the content of the new expansion before starting to gather my pitchfork
Which we don't know if with SB content is actually needed or it will be that big of impact.
What i'm saying is simply to wait for the expansion to actualy come out because even if we now know the skill set we still haven't the slighest clue on the "ambient" in which we will use em.

Normally I hate complaining about classes. I've been defending WHM in a couple of threads even though I don't heal. (Because my brother has leveled all of them but mains AST.)
They took away our niche of magic mitigation. They took reprisal. They gave us two abilities, one of them being an AOE which is fine for DPSing I guess.
No complaints on Bloodspiller. Hell yeah. About time I can slap something in the face while tanking and feel like it does something and isn't on a minute cooldown. Lots more Dark Arts spam in the future though.
I'm disappointed that we didn't get any "real" spells like Paladin did. (They have two now, right? Clemency and Holy Spirit).
My spirit was broken when I saw that Drain was a cross-skill for casters. I was really hoping DRK would get that.
And are they REALLY going to keep Dark Passenger?

what has me wondering is the wording on "the Blackest Night". It says we get the 50 Blood Gauge when the effect expires. to me this sounds we only get the gauge increase if the effect runs out without being used. though no matter what actually is true here, this skill is an awesome defense cd. 2 syphon strikes give you the needed mp. which is enough time so blackest night is off the cd again. that means putting that 2400 mp into mitigation (instead of DA) will give you a free bloodspiller every 15s and more dmg in the end.
DA on the other hand will "only" add 140 potency to our other options (carve and spit would still favor DA)

I'm okay with the changes aside from the loss of scourge.

I'll miss it too, it was my hero pull secret combo.
SO many healers told me no, only for me to say yes. And then win. When Sohr Kai was new, I was already pulling all the way to the first boss.
Scourge was like 400 pot attack with 30s cooldown. I don't see where we got it back.

Let's make the most complex tanking job even more complicated and still doesn't reap the advantage of the other tanks. I thought they were supposed to be simplifying things to make more people stay on tank after releasing 2 DPS?
It's nerf or nothing.

They don't want you stance dancing anymore, even if you are OTing you will need grit to hold agro from all the new dps job skills coming.
The way it's setup is you won't even get blood gauge if you are not in grit for the most part anyways.
Try holding agro from a sam without being in grit, you will be kicked from so many partys, adapt or don't bother tanking.
