You know what else bugs me besides these WHM changes?

Yoshi P has mentioned in an interview with Dual Shockers:

DS: Considering that there won’t be a new tank or healer job in Stormblood, are you thinking of any measure to encourage players to play tanks and healers as much as possible, to balance the large influx of those covering DPS roles?

NY: We don’t want to force people to transition into those roles. Yet, for those who already like to play a tank or a healer, we’ll prepare more content encouraging players to play those roles. This is the direction that we’d like to take, as we don’t want to force DPS players to play tanks of healers if they don’t want to.

Looking at it from a role balance perspective, our data shows that the percentage of players who prefer tanks is about 22%, while healers are at 21%. Of course, ideally it would be nice if it was closer to 25% for each of those roles, but it’s still very close to that, so we feel that there is no point in trying to force people into doing something they don’t enjoy.

Now, we know tanks are getting a mount or another mount each -- There's a Japanese interview that I can link if I can find it again and if anyone needs "proof" of such. But... what are healers getting? I'm not saying we should get mounts too, though if that's what the dev team has in mind I wouldn't snub my nose at them, but... there has been no mention of anything like this and now that we have the hot piece of garbage that are whm changes... this kinda bugs me even more =/ Do you think we're going to get anything, and if so... what would you want?

The CNJ (which would now be WHM) yes, gets the Unicorn...which i think i got and never used, i went "ooh, quest...what's this..." and went through it went "oh...a pony...a very muscular pony...uh...that has a horn...and doesn't even h ave white glowy...and is kinda bluish...."

i...was never too too happy with the Unicorn.

Yes and no. The unicorn was to ensure people played healers at low level since conjurer was the only actual "healer" in the game in 2.0. Considering it's a level 30 job quest that anyone can do compared to an achievement based reward for actually playing the job in 8-man end game content... I'm not really sure you can apply it to "job-exclusive" you don't even need a job to get it (strictly speaking in game terms).

It's a Conjurer mount, actually, you don't need the job stone. Or rather, you can't even pick up the quest as a WHM. Also, it's actually rather easy to obtain, because it is only really gated behind doing a really simple quest at level 30 up. Really not that great of a gate, compared to the tank mounts, so basically anyone can get it without putting much work into it.

To OT... I'm afraid I'm too busy worrying and trying to deside what class to play in two weeks to really think about this...
