It always been a matter of the content versus the player's comfort level. Since the upcoming change get's rid of the reason a lot of healers hesitated to dps, you'll see more healers dps. As for me, I always did damage when I could. I just kept forgetting to switch to CS.

Sorry but that's nonsense on anything other than a minor scale. We're at a point now where you can drastically overgear for practically everything, yet even in low content with souped up tanks that barely take a scratch, you see PLENTY of Healers who will AFK on the sidelines. "I'm worried that if I go into Cleric stance you'll take big damage" reason only stretches so far. I have seen less and less healers actually damaging as the weeks have gone by, NOT more. I'm still stinging from a Healer a few weeks back who not only refused to DPS, but entered level 60 dungeon with a macro that posts a three-page long rant as to WHY they're not going to DPS, trying to make people feel bad in advance for even questioning it or expecting it, and telling everyone in other roles how to play in order to cater for their blatant laziness.

In 9/10 of my examples of the contrary, these players have multiple level 60's in all roles. Someone in that position should know 90% of content like the back of their hand and be perfectly capable of anticipating damage, enough to know how much freedom they have vs healthbars - but no, spam those Cures and Cure II's like a paranoid healer in their first Sastasha.

Play a SCH who aggressively DPS's. I love to play the how low can the tank go game.

After them nerfing the hell out of my dots and Bane and Shadowflare and Blizzard 2; I'd love to, but I don't think I can.

Currently I can out dps average and below avg "dps" jobs with clerics and a decent tank for a bunch of pulls and fights. From now on though my casts got so pricey and with the bane nerf I might rather keep my stacks up who knows when ill need it. : )
